Johnston, S. Ganz, T. Yoshiga, and . in . The Associated Women Students, under the auspices of the Dean of Women, control the school events and outside activities of the U of A coeds. Besides these regulatory measures, AWS sponsors a great many of the social events held on our campus. During Freshman Week, the Wranglers, big-sister sponsors for incoming freshmen, escorted their clogies to the Freshman Women's Tea in Pima Hall to meet the Dean of Women and her staff. The all-girl costume party, Co-ed Capers, was held in October. Skits were presented by the Women's honoraries, refreshments were served, and prizes Were given for the most original costumes. Tvvirp Week, a turnabout in traditional dating methods Qp.25j, was culminat- ed by the AWS Formal on Dec. 3 at El Con. On April 29, all of the organizations on campus were represented by booths, floor shows, games and spook houses at the annual All-School Carnival. The final event in the Spring for AWS Was Women's Day, which began when recognition and honors for student activities and achievements were made at the morning assembly and ended with the University Sing on the steps of the Greek Theatre, both men and women's organizations competed for the awards. An active imagination, a little paper, some yarn, and a lot of grease paint con transform a coed into Tonto or The Egg and I, COED CAPERS, women's night ot the university, brought out F.S.T. in a funny, punny skit.
