Through their excellent leadership, the University of Arizona maintained its high standing as a university community. They have carried out an effective program to improve campus conditions and have been spokesmen in student problems. Board of Control he Board of Control supervises all aspects of student activity and approves the Finances alloted to each group. The board has full power of disposition and appropriation over all funds of the Associated Students. At the end of each semester the Graduate Manager, Bumps Tribolct, receives prepared budgets from the managers of each division and submits it to the board, whose decision is Final. In addition, Bumps oversees all the functions of the Associated Students and in collaboration with Pop McKale, director of athletics, schedules all sports events on campus. Heading the financial division is Phil McLaughlin, who does the bookkeeping, pays the bills, and handles the payrolls of stadium crews, etc., for the University. C. Stubby Ashcraft administers student body activities. Besides his responsibility for publications, furthering basketball, track, baseball and football, Stubby supervised a successful rodeo at Kinsley's ranch.
