□ RAMA This year’s dramatic season was a brilliant one for Herring hall. The plays presented under the direction of Mr. P. R. Marroney were “The Male Animal” by Thurbcr and Nugent, “Call It a Day” by Richardson and Burney, “Guardsmen” by Molnar and “Dark of the Moon by Dodie Smith. “Dark of the Moon sold more tickets than any Herring hall production on record. Much credit was due to Mrs. F. P. Walkup, head of costuming, for the authentic costumes and also to Mr. R. C. Burroughs for the excellent sets which he designed. Another play “And So Why Not” was written anti directed by James Safgcant. The department finished its year with the production of “The Vagabond King ' which was given in connection with the art and music departments. Page 241
