Jones, Lariene Moffett, Mrs. Ollie Pow'ell ALUMNI OFFICE The Alumni association office, headed by J. Melvin Goodson, plays an important part in keeping the public informed about university events. The work on the Student union building was continued this year; the drive for the remaining $190,000 was started last spring. Mr. Goodson was active in re-establishing alumni clubs in states other than Arizona. There, organizations receive information concerning university activities from the Arizona alumnus magazine, which is edited by Mrs. Carol W. Tufts. Others included on the staff are Mrs. Minna B. Jones who is secretary in charge of alumni files; Mrs. Ollie Powell, bookkeeper for the Student union; and Mrs. Dawn Dollard, secretary to Mr. Goodson.

Markland, manager of radio bureau RADIO BUREAU Don McCraven, Robert Jones, Hoyett Martin and Bill Kimble listen to a few last-minute suggestions from Mr. Markland. More than seventy-five students have participated this year in the three courses offered by the radio bureau. Under the supervision of Mr. Ben C. Markland and Mr. Peter Marroney, the students receive practical experience by writing, announcing and acting in the seven weekly programs, all of which have -outlets in Tucson and Phoenix. Page 13
