Student Body Secretary The position of student body secretary was filled by Marianne Dunn, Kappa, from Glenwood, Iowa. Having majored in speech, Marianne plans to obtain a job in this field in Denver next year. Student Body Vice-President Ioy Lehmberg, from Casa Grande, Ariz., served as vice-president of the student body this year. Ioy is a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. Her major is Pan Amer- ican Relations and she would like to Work in South America after graduation. Page 21

Bob has served willingly and well in this capacity and his co- operation With administrative officers has meant the eiicient execution of student gov- ernment. New York claimed Bob before he came west to school. He is an English major, a swimming and diving enthusiast and a hash artist of Varsity Inn fame.

The Board of Control approves all student activities. Members this year Were: Marianne Dunn, A. L. Slonaker, George Chambers, Mrs. Hazel MacCready, Ioy Lehmberg and Bob Corroon. Headed by Mary Stewart, the As- sembly committee did much plan- ning to present an interesting assem- bly for the student body each Thurs- day. Members of the committee this year were: La Verne Oberfeld, Graham French, Mary Stewart and Billie Thompson. Page 22 Traditions were maintained this year by a vigilant committee headed by Reading Overstreet.
