0 THE PURPOSE OF S.G.A. The Student Government Association functions to foster the general welfare of the Student Body, and to facilitate the proper relationship between the students, the faculty, and the administration. The Student Council acts for and by the authority of the Student Body in all matters of legislation. Its power to legislate for the Student Body in all matters pertaining to University activities is limited only by the Con- stitution and the authority of the Dean. Subject to this limitation, they have the power by appropriate act or resolution to supervise, regulate and restrict or in any way modify or alter any and all student activities.
