Students are interested in politi- cal affairs . . . Why when Bobby was here on Campus . . . wasn ' t that awful? Sure there were those who backed him and those who violently op- posed him . . . but no one wants a country where its lead- ers are shot down and assas- sinations are common place. These college kids, I declare, What ' s be- come of young America? Why only last night a carload of drunks drove through my tulips . . . and they were smoking . . . The very idea, I ' m sure it was pot. Why in my day . . . oh, why can ' t they be like we were? . . . Vulgar suggestive dances . . . Where ' s the Big Apple, the Black Bottom? Oh Jitter Bug, come back come back! Last night I saw a girl enter a boy ' s apart- ment and you can only imagine . . . mind you, I wasn ' t looking but kids are so ob- vious about everything ... no morals, no pride . . . If only their parents knew, it ' s my Christian duty to inform the dean. I ' ll call tomorrow. In the name of humanity, what ' s a generation gap? It scares me, really scares me, they ' re the future leaders of our country . . . Mark my word, they ' ll have us in a war in no time and crime and rioting in the streets will be common place.
