Hepburn was able to utilize his fegat genius to develop e umique student-faculty relationship as he sought to instill in his students an element of the scholarly gentleman as well as that of the qualified legal technician. He passed along to them his sense of responsi- bility to Humanity to protect individual liberty within the necessary com- plexities of modern society, always discouroging the prostitutioei of legal knowledge in pursuit of private gain. COLONEL CARLiTON K. BUTLER . . , The football team iost some games, but the University of Aiabama Million Dollar Band has for many years been the outstanding performer in every holfttme show in which it has participated.
