ALPHA PHI CHAPTER This year, dance time rolled around for the Theta Chi fraternity for the first time since I942. Not to be short about it, the chapter threw a large size feast down in Tuscaloosa town, invited some prominent faculty members to speak, and with the help of a certain brother aired the event locally tor a half hour, Cy Bahakel was also master of ceremonies. Other social events for the crossed swords and Theta men, skipping the numerous house gatherings, included the spring term's Founders' Day celebrations, also a first in tive years. Always sportsmen, the chapter athletes are shaping up for their kingpin competition in basketball and already have shown signs of quality play. The former Gamma Sigma local boasts among other things, that their house is so close to Bryce's Woods that none at the brothers ever go there. The other things include the already men- tioned Cy Howdy Pahdnuh Bahakel, Law school gadabout, and Roy Killingsworth, representative in Theta Tau and A. S. C. E. presi- dent, In the house, Perry Ingram pledge marshall operates as gen- eral contact man, while a tall, bald headed blond, Bob Sleepy Fultz ofticiates as president. PSI CHAPTER Twenty years from now it a father is telling his college son what a hard time he had getting to school, it will undoubtedly be a ZBT who is talking. Though they live only a short way, the Zebes plough through the mud and dirt behind the supe store to get to their classes of higher learning. In spite of the difficulties Chonest, it's not so badl these boys are noted for their ranking BMOC's. Chapter president, Mark Shatz, is an assistant editor of the Ram, former Corolla busi- ness manager, Charlie Wampold, is also a Jason and Cotillion Club member. Other Zebes notables are Frank Loeb and John Held, members of Druids and umpteen other organizations. Though the ZBT house is hidden behind the Deke house and the supe, girls have no trouble finding their vvay Cwith dates, natchl to the many house dances given there. Would you?
