Yes, Unity is an exciting place to be. Not only do you have a place to make friends, get a good education, and become active in sports. Unity has all kinds of ac- tivities to provide a little more excitement in our everyday lives. Tractor races, sponsored by FFA, have become a tradition among UHS classes (see pics. 1, 4, 7,8) and the Home Economics classes have a pre-school in the Spring (see pic. 2). While high school students got ready for Homecoming, middle school students had a different program than usual- an aerobics class! (see pics. 3, 9, 16). Assemblies given by Dick Dur- bin and Trooper Jerry Alltop and Socko were the talk of Unity for awhile. All present will remem- ber Mr. Pilat’s scuffle with this trained dog (see pics. 10,11,12). Student Council Week con- cluded with Unity’s version of the Olympics. Two days of fun and competition in games that will never be found under the eternal flame (see pics. 13, 14, 15). Yes, Unity is a great place to be!
