With Gratitude • • • . . . this 1981 edition of the Unity Hi-Lites is dedicated to Leatrice L. Dedert and Dolores Buhre. While working at Unity, they were known for their organized work and office talents. They were looked up to with great respect. Leatrice L. Dedert worked for four principals and was book- keeper to six superintendents, for a total of 37 years of dedicated work. She retired in 1979. Dolores Buhre worked as a secretary at Unity. While here, she worked under seven principals. This adds up to a total of 25 years of faithful service. Both Leatrice and Dolores noted many changes in the school. The most significant being the consolidation in 1948 which increased the choices of curriculum and extra curricular activi- ties and in 1962, the new addition to the high school and the new elementary schools. 4 — DEDICATION
