HISTORY and D. Presser. Our homecoming float New Years Eve followed the theme of Holidays. M. Peter, D. Presser, K. Andrew, were the Junior Attendants to the queen. K. Andrew and A. McGinnis attend- ed Girls Conservation Camp. K. Andrew and D. Venvertloh were our Junior Rep. to the Christmas Dance. We also received our class rings in the fall. M. Meyer and C. Groce were in the Dramatics play. S. Takier was chosen asour rep. totheBasket- ball Swaetheart Dance. Our Prom, held at the Holiday Inn, was en- titled Rhapsody in Stardust. B. Wilcox and J. Conover sang for us andc. Ardrey gave a piano solo. Seven boys were in basketball, nine in foot- ball, seven in track, and five in baseball. C. Ard- rey received the typing I Award. Our Junior money making project was the annual magazine drive. Our top four salesmen were G. Voth, G. Hull, A. Robert- son, and S. Thornton. Seventy-two Seniors returned, realizing that only one year was left of our Good Old School Days at Unity High. Our sponsors again were Mrs. Shrader and Mr. Keane. Senior officers were Pres. K. My- ers; V. Pres. K. Andrey; Sec. D. Presser; Rep. J. Elston; Treas. S. Leerhoff; and S.C. Rep. J. Penn. In October, one of our classmates, John Wittier, was killed in an automobile accident. Our Homecoming Float Engine, Engine No. 9 received 2nd place. D. Presser was Homecom- ing Queen and her Senior Attendants were K. An- drew, M. Peter, S. Takier. At the dance the Se- nior Football boys were escorts. Senior pictures were taken October 6,7. Our Junior Attendants; Peter K. Andrew, D. Presser, M. Those Seniors in business classes went to Quincy for a tour of various businesses. At the Sadie Hawkins DanceG. VothandC. Bryson were named Best Dressed. We gave the Christmas Dance with the Signs of Trou- ble playing. KingandQueenwereD.Venvertlohand K. Andrew. J. Grotte, D. Venvertloh, C. Bryson, and S. Burke represented the school on the All-Conference Football Team. R. Asher received the Section 13 Star Farmer Award and C. Groce earned first chair in the State Band for his second year. S. Takier was Basketball Sweetheart Attendant. Again their Se- nior Year, D. Presser and K. Andrew were our Var. Cheerleaders. Mrs. Shrader's homeroom, 102 won the all school volleyball tournament. J. Penn and K. Andrew were FFA Sweetheart Attendants. The Juniors entertained us at the Holiday Inn, May 13. Baccalaureate was May 21 and Com- mencement, May 26. An English I Class HISTORY OF CLASS OF 1967 In August, 1963, 87 energetic and ambitious Freshmen came from Greenfield, Loraine, Mendon, and Fowler to Unity High School under the leader- ship of Mrs. Jeanette Shrader and Mr. Patrick Keane. For our class officers we elected--Pres. D. Venvert- Ioh; V. Pres. A. Robertson; Sec. A. McGinnis; Treas. D. Presser; Rep. K. Myers; St. Cn. L. Shupe and St-at-Arms G. Dedert and J.P. Grotte. A get acquainted dance was given by the Stu- dent Council so the Freshmen were given recogni- tion. Elected Junior Var. Cheerleaders were K. Andrew, A. McGinnis, D. Presser, and L. Shupe. Our Homecoming float was Unity Skins Brown County. For our money making project we held a roller skating party. S. Takier and A. Robertson represented the class at the Twirp dance given by the Annual Staff. For the first time in the fifteen year history of Unity High School Athletics a Freshman football squad was formed. A total of 23 boys played a three game football schedule under Coach Keane. Sixteen boys participated in basketball, five in track, and one in baseball. S. Baker, J. Penn, M. Meyer, and C. Groce joined the Annual Staff. M. Peter was FFA Sweet- heart Attendant, and L. Shupe was an attendant at the Basketball Sweetheart Dance. Eithty-five silly Sophomores under the supervi- sionofMrs. Shrader and Mr. Keane started the 1964- 65 school year. Officers were Pres. R. Stump; V. Pres. L. Hoener; Sec. K. Andrew; Treas. T. Stockhecke; Rep. M. Meyer; S.C. Rep. D. Presser. Var. Cheer- leaders were K. Andrew and D. Presser. Our Homecoming Float Miss America placed 2nd. M. Peter represented us at the Basketball Sweet- heart Dance which was our money makingproject. M. Peter was FFA Sweetheart and K. Andrew was an attendant. Representing our class at the Annual Staff Dance was G. Voth and G. Dedert. In the School Play Danger, Love At Work J. Conover and L. Shupe participated. In the spring play Taming the Brat S. Takier, J. Con- over. L. Shupe and R. Stump took part. Nine boys were in football, five in baseball, ten in basketball and seven in track. D. Venvert- loh won the Spanish Award. We ordered class rings for the coming year. A. McGinnis, K. Andrew, G. Voth, D. Greenlief, C. Groce and M. Myers served at the Prom. Eighty-two jolly Juniors registered for their third year. Our sponsors were Mrs. J. Shrader and Mr. P. Keane. Officers for the coming year were Pres. C. Groce; V. Pres. D. Jackson; Sec. G. Voth; Treas. J. Stone; Rep. J. Elston; S. C. Rep. A. McGinnis. Var.
