Homecoming Ends in Tie Once again the six days of Homecoming Week were fun and competitive between the three classes. The week ended with a Saturday night game against South Christian; in which the Sailors were defeated and the Class of 1974 was welcomed back. Competition was fierce and turned out to be very close all week. The winner would be determined by the floats. This year’s theme for the floats was Historical Time Periods. The Seniors took first place with their Middle Ages float tying them in competition with the Juniors who took second with their Space Age float. The Sophomores whose float was centered around the Stone Age took third place. Another highlight of the school year sailed by as quickly as it had come and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. 14 Homecoming
