In Memoriam On the evenmg of Apr1l 3 1956 a tornado swept through the western part of Hudsonvrlle, destroying homes and taklng the l1ves of 13 persons Among those kllled were a member of our faculty Mr Wrllram Oosten dorp, and hrs xnfant son Stephen We were shocked to hear the news of thexr deaths for we all knew r Oostendorp very well and many of us had had hmm for a teacher From h1m we learned not only scxence and mathemaucs, but by the example of hrs own lxfe he also taught us the pr1nc1ples of Chrlstlan lrvxng, and the rmportance of splrltual thmgs H15 mfluence upon us w1ll not soon be forgotten and we wlll always remember h1m as our former teacher and frrend 6 o fl . . 5. 7 7 .
