Soule Bowl Gets Facelift Q q . , lllwtill ' .jd 10 - Opening A major contributor to change in 1981- 82 was the renovation of Soule Bowl, a project observed throughout the year and which forced an 'taway-from-home home field for Panther football, ln October of 1979, the school board decided to investigate possible options to renovate Soule Bowl. The options includ- ed improving the existing track facility, renovating the west side bleachers, and improving vehicular exits to the Bowl area. The board decided on a number of improvements. One improvement was a new, six lane, all-weather, asphalt rubber composition 400-meter track.
