This year's homecoming parade was the best one we’ve seen for a long time—bigger and longer than ever—Disneyland predominated—lots of eager participants—a crisp fall afternoon—beautiful skies—sunny and clear—parade organization involved the usual chaos—of course everything turned out suprisingly smoothly—crowds absolutely packed the parade route—people were even standing way out in the street—Disney characters mingled with the crowd—band marched to the tune of “The Mickey Mouse March”—Royalty rode splendidly in dashing convertibles—lots of happy smiling faces—Mickey Mouse and his gang had a fantastic time.
