clfowgoes fzmome to rome and back for christmas-how did they ever make it-more than just hours ot work in singing prac- tice, or in the booster club raising money-but pulling together as a group with a common goal-the time comes-for some its their first plane trip-concerts everywhere-the airport--the plane-on the streets- echoing voices in the halls of the great cathedrals- always an audience though we sang in english-most important of all, the festival itself-taking third in com- petition against many other high school and college choirs made it worth it. it wasn't all work either-there was lots of time to sight-see-talking in sign language with the natives-the money was really confusing- thousands of lire only worth pennies-noodles at every meal-tasting real italian spaghetti with real italian wine -an unforgettable experience-no one really believed they were there till it was all over-home again-still the best place to be. 'm,w-ff' , i i V, i l nl l A a lot of hard work went into the selling of oranges and grape- fruit. l A at the airport, mr. dyer leads in a round of singing. L the airline stewardess made the choir's flight a breeze. p steph dalton and joana glockhoff hold one of the italian posters advertising the lO-choir trip concerti vocali -choral concert. .419 rw niisiucn ul cuciim vmii at riinrf N11 SIS?
