Bible Club officers and sponsor for the past year have been: Mrs. Fern Me-Xab, sponsor; Marge Simler, vice-president; Judy Huff, secretary; Sandra Coakley, treasurer; and Reva Duncan, president. BIBLE CLUB The world’s greatest book, the Bible, serves as an inspiration to the members of the Bible Club as they study its teachings. The members and their sponsor, Mrs. Fern McNab, tried to emphasize to the rest of the youths in our school the need for the Bible in our lives. This year the Bible Club included a variation of interesting programs in their activities. Bringing new thoughts to the members, outside missionaries, speakers, student leaders, and recent graduates spoke to the group. For a Christmas project, the club prepared baskets for needy families. One of the most active organizations that involves one of the largest number of members is the Girls’ Athletic Association. This club promotes athletic interest and spirit among the girls participating. During the year, this program was followed : FALL—Tennis meets. Selling programs at football games, Selling Christmas cards, Winners’ party for Christmas card selling, and Installation of officers. SPRING — Crowning of sports’ King and Queen, Assembly, Annual Spring Dance, Initiation, and Awards Day. ACTIVITIES — Soccer-Kickball, Basketball, Bowling, Tumbling, Aerial Darts, and Tennis.
