Bible Club officers and sponsor for the past year have been: Mrs. Fern Me-Xab, sponsor; Marge Simler, vice-president; Judy Huff, secretary; Sandra Coakley, treasurer; and Reva Duncan, president. BIBLE CLUB The world’s greatest book, the Bible, serves as an inspiration to the members of the Bible Club as they study its teachings. The members and their sponsor, Mrs. Fern McNab, tried to emphasize to the rest of the youths in our school the need for the Bible in our lives. This year the Bible Club included a variation of interesting programs in their activities. Bringing new thoughts to the members, outside missionaries, speakers, student leaders, and recent graduates spoke to the group. For a Christmas project, the club prepared baskets for needy families. RIFLE CLUB The shooting of guns is an art, and the Rifle Club of our school tried to promote an interest in the care of guns and knowledge of proper shooting. Each member had an allotted amount of time to practice in the target room during the school week. Through this practice, the members quite often became skilled gun handlers.
