They link the directors and the performers. Only students with high ideals, good character, ambition, and initiative are qualified for these positions. Those selected also should be interested in school government, the principles of diplomacy, and the spirit of cooperation. Every year four candidates are nominated for the offices of advisory board president, and one is elected by popular vote. Bob Hart, Dick Ingram, George Waddell, and Don Van Auwelaer were the leading contenders. George Waddell won the presidency. Bus transportation to the games was provided by this organization. They sponsored a dance and the sale of pencils featuring the varsity basketball schedules. Homecoming was also a main attraction planned by this group.

Now focusing our cameras on the classes of U. T. H. S. we see a group of energetic, enthusiastic, and industrious students. Out of school pride they enjoy making this school a finer place to work and play. One hundred and nineteen students qualified for the honor roll. Besides studying diligently, they work wholeheartedly in extra-curricular activities. Many are planning their futures including college, homemaking, industry, and business.
