Class of 1948 J ■n-aCl coo Vresiaef The class of '48 is now passing through the portals of the United Township High School as students for the last time. The graduates are better prepared to meet the future whether it be in the business world, the factory, the sports field, in a profession, in college, or in the home through the various studies and extra-curricula of this school. During the four years in high school this class has become well known in leadership and scholarship, as well as in the extraactivities such as music, dramatics, speech, and sports. The class would like to show its appreciation to all the teachers who have been such a help in these four years. Miss Dorothy Butts Miss Salomea Landd, and Miss Helen Buresh were the freshmen, sophomore, and junior-senior sponsors. Miss Margaret Rieger, Miss Myra Baker, Mr. P. J. Philhower, and Mr. Millard W. Pratt have been the very able senior advisors. For their capable leadership, the students pay homage to the class officers, Jack Coder, president; Maurice Boenitz, vice-president-Shirley Termont, secretary; and Myles Hyman, treasurer.
