Many a time and oft we have had to picture red, green and white lights in a miscellaneous array, perpendicular and horizontal, neither and both, with and without. We have learned how to bring a schooner over the bar, weigh an anchor with a pair of scales, and how to make rope large enough for a belly -strap. Serious things aside.
