The Army Fencing Team is a highly competitive team that uses all of it resources to ensure that each member receives all the skills needed to fence strong. The Fencing team ended last season finishing number one in the National Collegiate Club Fencing Championships. U The championships brought glory and a certain pressure forthe team iiyy glauy cuyyi , li its success. Despite competing against varsity teams with better practice facilities, the team continues to show their strength and are congratulated by their opponents. The Army team finished their amazing season with a 13-1 record. . .Head ,iiie Coach Marie Johnson couldn't have said it any better when she told the if rrrri 1i L I team, We have had a Hall of Fame Season. lt's truly been super, the 5 kind of season that you dream about. Co-captains Amanda King and gg H I ..l. , g Stephanie Davison, and firstie leaders, Eva Armanas, Jill Rahon, Kelly I rrilif .,,,,,. Lanternief, and Priya,,Rednam helped lead the 2006 Lady Lax Team to if ii ti i fy A Tgiloriousu victories over some of their toughest opponents in years, including Delaware, Syracuse, Penn State, and Air Force! Two of their biggest highlights included defeating Syracuse and Penn State for the ECWLA championship and beating Air Force in double-overtime. This team's dedication and love for each other and the game earned them the chance to play at the 2006 U.S. Lacrosse Intercollegiate National Championship. From Coach GalIagher's crazy work-outs, bitter cold practices in A-lot, Mary's motivational speeches, Steph's man-voice, Pete's ai-ee-yah! call, and the you can't fight genetics animal names, their friendships and memories will truly last a lifetime.
