he Bandits have endured a journey that has seen the demise of the glory days of Otis and the rise of professionalism. We should have realized the hardships that lay ahead when we learned the rain cap covers were not shower caps, dress-offs were not issued, and not all preppies went to the Prep school. We lost a few along the way (and some for the wrong reasons), but we managed to get through the hard times with such diversions as belly-flopping, Mark ' s Tailgates, and friendship shots. With the coming of cars, rings (We Didn ' t Start the Fire), OPPs, and The Company of Love , the journey is close to an end. What a long strange trip it has been.
