As lune week approaches and brings with it graduation and commissioning for my class I am faced with the awesome task of attempting to put in to words the gratitude I feel for the work done by so many people involved with the yearbook. First I would like to thank the Corps for the outstanding support we received this year in our circulation drives. Our circulation total is one of the highest ever and the yearbook would not have been as complete without the overwhelming support of the Corps of Cadets. In addition there are certain members of the Corps from all classes who became personally involved in the 1976 Howitzer. These staff members dedicated a great deal of free time to creating, editing, and finishing the yearbook which follows. I believe they deserve a sincere thanks from all of us. If the Howitzer staff has done their job properly all of us who have subscribed to the yearbook should find in it a wealth of memories both now, and in the future. If, in fact, you find these memories in the Howitzer then we have done our job and the '76 yearbook will have been a success and will bring our years at West Point closer to us as we progress in our Army careers.
