However that may be, do not attribute it to the lack of material to work with, on one side, or to the absence of the Editors, blue pencil, on the other. Gur one aim has been to portray every scene as it actually existed and appealed to us. If this book succeeds in this, it will not grow yellow with age in vain. In conclusion, let it be understood that this bool: is not the Work of a few men.
