THE LONG AWAITED, ZERO DAYS TILL FIRST GRADUATION HAS FINALLY come. This year, graduation fell on a Monday. Speaking at GRADUATION WERE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION - NORMAN Mineta, Maritime Administrator - Captain William Schubert, and Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee - Congressman Young of Florida. Honorary degrees were ADMINISTERED TO CONGRESSMAN YOUNG AND RADM LAUREN McCready. Admiral McCready was the first head of Department of Engineering at Kings Point, and helped to FOUND THE ACADEMY.
