The Academy Library was com- pleted prior to the Class of 1 976 s initial arrival at Kings Point. The library could not have been com- pleted at a better time: where else could a midshipman seek refuge from the heat during the summer? If a man felt like sleeping in comfort during the morning hours without fear of being stuck by a CO. he could do it in the library. ■I t: tt •• One of the beautiful mansions in the area, once part of the Walter Chrysler estate. Wiley Hall serves as the administration building for the Academy. From Wiley Hall we hear of once dreaded occurrences called E and A Boards. Any middie so honored to appear before one usually dreaded the outcome. However, this year has seen these Boards overcome by the far more feared Class Three Offense. N 7

What could be confused with a mansion from Gone with the Wind is actually the proving ground for all midshipmen. Three square meals, with all the trim- mings, are a challenge every day. The Arcade, interconnecting Jones and Barry Halls, is truly an architectural delight. Here we see the Arcade opening to O'Hara Hall, where many midshipmen will spend extra time reconditioning themselves. Yes indeed, when haven't we all at one time or another gone to O'Hara Hall to recondition ourselves on the high jump mats during Saturday mor- ning inspection.

m it it What's that building with all that stuff on top of it? . . A familiar question by visitors and newcomers to the Academy, we all know this to be Bowditch Hall. No doubt in several years all will remember Bowditch Hall as the place in which we saw all those fine movies. What we may not remember is that Bowditch Hall is the home of Economics. Humanities, Marine Transporta- tion, Law, Math, Meteorology, and Electronics. 8
