You are about to begin an adventure, a lifetime odyssey which will probe your strengths and test your endurance. The challenges ahead are numerous and hold the promise of rich and fulfilling careers. The extensive training you have undergone as Midshipmen has pre- pared you to excel in your profession. Perhaps more significant, you have developed the ability to lead other men toward meaningful goals and achievements. During your years at Kings Point, you have participated integrally in many improvements to the Academy’s facilities, and programs. Without your active support and assistance, these changes would not have been possible.
