The tiny vessel sailed from the mouth of the Kennebee River in Maine and made several subsequent Atlantic crossings. Eight years later, Adraien Block built the sixteen-ton yacht, Onrust, to replace the vessel which brought him from Holland. Each colony began building many ves- sels for domestic commerce and fishing. In fact, shipbuilding was the first task of the colonists after homes were erected.
