Pennsylvania (JfiounJ T fieaknq ( etemany AT UNITED JOINT HIGH SCHOOL DECEMBER 9, 1953 The ground-breaking ceremony for the $1.7 million high school building was witnessed by students, teachers, hand members, local school directors. county officials, members of the Joint Authority. and citizens of the community. ■ The gold shovel used by Mr. Harry McLaughlin, President of the Joint Board, to break ground was presented to the school and now hangs in the Principal’s office.
