The Iarsightedness and the interest ol' these people have accomplished much for the success ol' the Uniontown Joint High School System. President ol the Uniontown Joint High School Board is Arthur Guseman ol' the XVharton Union Schools. AAIIIIIZIIII XV. Alunk ol' Ifranklin is vice-pres ident, and Attorney B. Adams is solicitor. Other oflicers are R. Tantlinger, secretary, and IV. S. Lloyd, treasurer. The following is the list ol ollicial school directors. School. They lead the way Dr Icred E. Iirvan. a tapable educator, is the supri- intendent ol' the l'niontown schools. Alter graduating Irom California State Teachers College, he began his teaching in the German 'Iownship schools. Ifrom there he came to L'niontown as a secondary teacher and then served as junior high school principal. I.ater he became principal at Point Nlarion Iligh School, coming to Uniontown several years later to serve as Co-ordinator of Elementary Education. He has received Master ol' Education and Doctor ol' Education degrees from the University ol Pittsburgh. Dr. Bryan works closely with school board in order to have a smoothly running school system and to provide the school with the best I . - possible equipment. Included in the many accomplishments under Dr. . Bryan's administration are the jointure ol the surround- ing school districts and the extensive building and mod- ernization program at the Uniontown Joint Senior High Board of Education and Superintendent Franklin: Edgar C.
