f ALPHA HI-Y The Alpha chapter of tne Uniontown Hi-Y club experienced a very successful year in 1932-33. Two banquets were lield; cne honoring the alumni and the other as a concluding gesture of harmony. Nuinerous guest speakers, heard at various meetings, were Coach A. J. Everhnrt, Reverend D. K. Johnson, Reverend R. O. Hudson, Dr. H. A. Heise, Mr. E. E. Pennock, and Mr, Irvin F. Hoerger. The leaders of the group were: president — John Cluss; vice-president — Harold ' Hustead; secretary — William Kremer; treasurer — Craig Rogers; sponsor — Mr. John H. SENIOR DRAMATIC CLUB The Senior Dramatic Club, meeting with INIrs. Alice Strosnider as sponsor, in Room 104 on alternate Wednesdays, completed a successful year ' s work in the study of dramatics and production. Sever al outside speakers were the guests of the club during the year. The annual senior class play The Boomerang , a three-act comedy was successfully staged with the cooperation of the club under Mrs Strosnider ' s able direction. The iirst semester ' s officers were: president. Kenneth Strick ' .er; vice-president, Jean Williams; secretary, Dorothy Crock: usher, Kenneth LaBarre; critics, Robert Darby and Gertrude Rodney. The leaders during the second semester were: president, David Bane; vice- president, Kenneth Strick ' .er; secretary, Naomi Caton; treasurer, Mary Louise Miller; usher, Don Duff; critics, William Chaney and Dorothy Crock.
