ALPHA TRI-HI-Y The officers of the Alpha chapter of Tri-Hi-Y for the 19 32-33 year were president, Beatrice Wood; vice-president, Catherine Wilson; secretary, Jane Hindman; treasurer, Jean Williams. Miss French was sponsor of this group. The Alpha and Beta chapters worked together to entertain over a hundred and fifty girls here at a very successful Southwestern Pennsylvania Tri-Hi-Y con- ference held on October 12 and 13. Beatrice M. Wood, elected president in 1932, was the presid- ing officer. At this conference Hannah Cope was elected vice-president of the Southwestern Penn- sylvania Tri-Hi-Y. The program -ot the Uniontown cluhs for the remainder of the year included a series of talks by Doctor Heise, inductions, swimming parties, service work, religious meetings, and various other talks and parties. BETA TRI-HI-Y The officers of the Beta chapter for the 1932-33 year were president, Frances Hague; vice- president, Helen Snyder; secretary, Dorothy Crock; treasurer, Sally Gans. The sponsor of this chapter was Miss Jeffries, On Christmas Eve the two chapters attended the midnight service at the Second Presbyterian Church in a body. After the service the girls went caroling with members of the Hi-Y. j .A delightful Alumnae Tea was given at the Y. M. C. A. by the Tri-Hi-Y club on December 26. ' Th8 year was, concluded by the annual Mother aud Daughter Banquet, -at which Helen Johnson was iriStalled as president of the Beta chapter for the coming year, and Hannah Cope was installed as president of the Alpha chapter.
