Basic to the di-veloptnrgnt of culture is the study of the Arts, During thc past six years, wr- have ht-en exposed to ttlmost every form of culture. In school. culture lifts heroine known to us through our art and drama workshops. music groups, shops and home economics classes. Extru-curriculgtr clubs, private lessons und personal hobbies have also added to this development. Some of our clussinutes upon g'rudug1tion will choose one of the arts as .1 vocation, but the ingtjority will not. For these. the knowledge of the Fine :ind przictical :trts will become it source of relaxation and enjoyment. Therefore, the ycatrhook stall sincerely hopes that this exposure to the creative aspects of living will serve zis a basis for enjoyment and ap- prccizition in lziter yezn-s and will serve to broaden us its individuals in the modern world.
