' An Evening of Beautiful iVIusic ' An Evening of Beautiful Music was the theme of the 1977 Campus All-Sing. The event was held on November 11 in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel and was jointly sponsored by Phi Mu Alpha and Sigma Alpha lota music fraternities. This year, trophies were not given to the winners. Instead, cash donations were given to the organization ' s favorite charity, along with a certificate for the purpose of display to the group. This year ' s participants in All-Sing were: Women ' s Independents, Zeta Tau Alpha, Chi Omega, Men ' s Independents, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Alpha Tau Omega. Each of the groups competed in the Large Group division and only Men ' s Independents did not participate in the Ensemble competition. Accepting for Chi O is Sylvia Wallace. Zeta director. Cindy Barrett First place Ensemble was Ctii Omega. Zeta Tau Alpha won second in the Ensemble competition.

Alpha Tau Omega ensemble. Much time and effort is put into All-Sing; not only by the groups who compete, but also by those who sponsor the event. During the program, SAI and PMA presented two selections and a very special solo was given by Charlotte Letters. Those who were competing had a difficult task before them. The judges gave points on the basis of appearance, intonation, enunciation, difficulty of piece, interpretation, and choreography. Winner of the Women ' s Large Group was Chi Omega, and of Men ' s Large Group was the Independent Men. In the Ensemble division, Chi Omega was first, and Zeta Tau Alpha was second. Women ' s Independent ensemble. Sigma Alpha Epsilon ensemble. Lambda Chi Alpha ensemble.
