' Miracle Worker ' Sells Out All Performances The fall drama production of the Miracle Worker was a box office hit for the Union University Theatre. Under the direction of new drama professor, Denise Stevenson, the William Gibson play had sell-out performances for its four day run. The cast had faces old and new to Union ' s stage, and each gave out- standing performances worthy of acclaim. Portrayed well was the plight of the Keller family— their deaf, mute, blind child who was un- manageable until she met Miss An- nie Sullivan. Indeed the production had its comical moments, but those that were sad and tender gripped the audiences and held them. A trying dinner at the Keiler home. Annie teaches sign language. Annie receives her golng-away presents from her classmates.

' An Evening of Beautiful iVIusic ' An Evening of Beautiful Music was the theme of the 1977 Campus All-Sing. The event was held on November 11 in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel and was jointly sponsored by Phi Mu Alpha and Sigma Alpha lota music fraternities. This year, trophies were not given to the winners. Instead, cash donations were given to the organization ' s favorite charity, along with a certificate for the purpose of display to the group. This year ' s participants in All-Sing were: Women ' s Independents, Zeta Tau Alpha, Chi Omega, Men ' s Independents, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Alpha Tau Omega. Each of the groups competed in the Large Group division and only Men ' s Independents did not participate in the Ensemble competition. Accepting for Chi O is Sylvia Wallace. Zeta director. Cindy Barrett First place Ensemble was Ctii Omega. Zeta Tau Alpha won second in the Ensemble competition.
