ADMISSIONS There was more than a ten per- cent increase in enrollment in the fall of 1972 due to the ef- forts of the Admissions office. Nineteen states were represented and eleven foreign students. There are four admissions counselors, two of whom have a master ' s degree in counsel- ing. Counselors from the Ad- missions office personally con- tact high school and junior college students in Tennessee and the surrounding states un- der the supervision of Dr. Milburn Blanton, Director. STUDENT PERSONNEL Those of us in student services like to tliink of ourselves as non- curricular educators. We realize that cognitive and affective develop- ment take place in non-academic contexts and our purpose is to in- fluence these areas in as positive a manner as possible.
