Friendliness Apparent On Union ' s Campus Ask any Union student what is the most apparent thing about the atmosphere on campus and he will reply without hesitation the friendliness that prevails. A spirit of friendship that doesn ' t stop with fellow students, but one which envelops the faculty and administration, as well as the campus cat, can be felt almost immediately upon arrival on campus. This inanimate quality continues to exist despite the turmoil and despair constantly clamoring outside Union ' s doors — making the institution a ' Shangrila at the perimeter of modern society. As a result the Union student must continually ex- amine his mind to be aware of the contrast, or he is apt tolose touch with reality. Union teaches Christian living; but Life, a great teacher also, has a different cumculum. Can a Union student learn both?
