ELECTION BOARD The election board consists of students from the Junior and Senior classes. Members of the board are four clerks, two judges, two sheriffs, and one inspector, all elected by fellow class members. The purpose of the election board is to make arrangements for a mock election held every election year. Each officer performs certain duties, such as distributing ballots, placing the ballots into the ballot boxes, making sure that every voter has privacy while voting, and keeping order at the polls. The election board works to make these elections as nearly like real elections as possible so that students may be better prepared for actual voting activities in the future.
