Over the years the membership has grown steadily, and it now numbers M3 boys and girls from the lower grades as well as high school. SUNSHINE SOCIETY The Union Twp. chapter of the Indiana Sunshine Society was organized in 1927. There are fifty-five members in our chapter this year. The Sunshine Society exists for the purpose of helping others, improving our community and bettering ourselves. Our society has had several projects this year. we sold candy and donated the profits to the library to use to buy some new books. we sponsored a Christmas dance and prepared gifts for the mental institution at Madison. Baskets of food were given to those who needed them. Christmas gifts were given to the first grade. we also sponsored a banquet for the basket- ball boys. The officers are as follows: Mary K.
