She expects to sweep the campus of Swarthmore, Pa., off its feet. After graduation from Lincoln School, she became very absorbed and occupied with the many activities offered at Union Hill. She was a member of the Dramatic Club, Language Club and History Forum. She also took part in the Arbor Day Program and the Elocution Contest. RICHARD KELLER Richard, the student with a neat appearance, graduated from NVashington Grammar School. He takes things easy and doesn't get excited. He is interested in fishing and boating and some day hopes to become an officer in the United States Navy. He has been a member of the History lforum of '35 and '37. RICHARD KRAVITZ Dickie Roy graduated from Roosevelt Grammar School. In Union llill he made a name for himself in almost everything that there is to enter. Richard keeps such a solemn face when you speak to him, that you can't tell whether he is joking or serious. He not only played Varsity liootball in '35, '35, '37 and Basketball '36, '37, but was also a member of the All County Chorus. Richard will study law after graduation. GRACE MALLEY Gracie is a quiet little miss who never talks. perhaps it was her lfranklin Grammar School training. PHILOMENA MORANO ls known as Rita's twin, always together. She graduated from VV'ashington Grammar School and is going to Pace Institute from here. She is the quiet but very eflicient type. Wfas a member of the Dramatic Club of '35, '36, Language 'Club '35, '36, History Forum '37. ALFRED J. LAUF Goody Gumdropsu graduated from jefferson School. ln Union Hill, he is not onlv well known for his athletic achievements but also for his pleasing personality. He is the fellow who can't get angry at anyone. Alfred played varsity foot- ball in '36 and '37, and was on the wrestling team of '35 and '36. Alfred intends to become a business man when he graduates from Union Hill. HOVVARD LEBER Leber, alias Skippy , is another quiet one in our midst. Skippy desires to be a minister and we all hope he succeeds in achieving his goal. During his time here, he has been Captain of the junior Police, a member of the Language Club. Dramatic Club, and History Forum. Howard likes swimming and photography. GLADYS NICHOLSON Is another of 7-3's girls. Modest, quiet, and efhcient as a typist. HaPPY is set for business after her visit at Union Hill High School. She originally came from Franklin Grammar School. Her hobbies are tennis, skating, bicycling, swim ming and dancing, and oh! how she can play the Fife!
