MARY DI FAZIO Is familiarly known to us as De-lie . lNas a bright student both at Roosevelt Grammar School and Union Hill High School. She is slight and dark and has a shy smile. Her ac- tivities were Sub Treasurer of '38 class. Language Club '35, History Forum '34, '37, The hobbies she has are --traveling, reading and sports fsocceril. She is going to be an excellent comptometrist. PAUL DILGER Paul, a quiet boy of our class, has always been ready to help at any time. He graduated from lNashington School. He is interested in sports, and hopes to attend Stevens Technical School. P.D. ,is his nickname. He has been a member of the Dram- nratic Club'35, '36, History Forum '37, and the Track Team '36, '37. HUGO DU VIGNEAU Hutch graduated from No. 4 School in XY. N. Y. He is one of our tallest students and has a natty appearance. He was in the Senior Play of Mrs. W'iggs of the Cabbage Patch . Has been a member of the English Club '35, '37, and the llistory Forum '37, Hugo intends to become Z1 naval officer and will go to Annapolis after graduation. IRENE DOLLARD ls known by the unusual nickname of Cab , Methinks she acquired it at Horace Mann Gram- mar School. She is going to be an able Comp- tometrist after her graduation from the Jersey City School of Comptometry. Her activities: Member of Dramatic Club, '36 and '37, member of History Forum. l RITA DE NOIA Kee is the girl with The beautiful Hands . She is especially known for her excellent hand- writing abilities. Came from W'ashing'ton Gram- mar School and is going to attend Business Col- lege. The following are her activities: Sub- treasurer '36, '37, member of Dramatic Club, Language Club '35, '36, History Forum '37, ling- lish Club '37, Treasurer of History Forum. Her hobbies: sports, bicycle riding, music, dancing and reading. JOSEPH DI GIRALAMO Iosephhknown as Dige , is a very energetic young person as shown by his activities on the J. V. Basketball team during 1936 and 1937. He also was a member of the English Club '35 and the History Forum '37. Dige is a graduate of P. S. No. 3 in North Bergen and expects to attend Seton Hall. He includes all sports in his way of amusement. RENATO DI LEO Renato is a quiet boy of our class who is sure to meet the world with a noble desire to succeed. Ray is as yet undecided as to what he'd like to do. Ile graduated from Lincoln School, N. B., and has been a member of the History Forum, ANGELINA DE PARTO Angelina, alias Angel , is going in for busi- ness. Formerly attended Franklin Grammar School. , GRACE F. DREXLER Freckles , the tall good-natured girl of our crowd, is a graduate of Roosevelt School. A bril-- liant and popular member of the class, she has participated in many school activities: Student Council, Vice pres., Girls' Glee Club '36, pres. Art Club '37, History Forum, Language Club, English Club, Biology Club. Some future day will tind her teaching a new generation its reading. 'riting and 'rithmetic. VVILLIAM ERS Elms is known to uls by any of three names including Bill, W'illie and W'hite, the latter due to the fact that he has such blond hair. His aim goes high into the future. He wishes to become an engineer and expects to study at Stevens Institute. Whitic Cas we all preter calling himi has been a member of the History Forum, Dramatic Club and Language Club. He has been keeping his talents hidden for those who graduated with him from Robert Fulton P. S. know him to be an accom- plished pianist. RALPH EHLERS Slim is one of our quiet students. He grad- uated from VVashington Grammar School. While going to Union Hill, he developed a hobby for photography, and now spends his spare time on this hobby. Ralph is a member of the History Forum and the Language Club, and wants to study aviation after graduation. CATHERINE EHSER Kay entered Union from Memorial High School, but by steadv, conscientious . . . and may I add charming effort, she has elevated herself to such a position that we are quite willing to over- look the facts of her origin. She is a member of the Dramatic Club, German Club, Language Club, and History Forum, and Girls' Basketball Team. ller hobby? Swimming!
