MARY BLAIR Mickey's hobbies are sports, skating, tennis, bike-riding and dancing. She was a member of the Dramatic Club of '35, History lforum '37, She husn't made up her mind as to the future. JUSTUS BECKER Butch , a graduate of Roosevelt School, is an exponent of the famous Greek philosophy, Everything in moderation and nothing in excess. He spends some of his time on studies, some of it on work, and the remainder on amusements: as a result, he is my idea of a reg'lar fellerf' He is Publicity Manager of the Senior Class, 21 member of the History Forum, Language Club, and a former vice-president of the Skating Club. Butch intends to continue his studies at Brook- lyn Polyteehnical Institute to earn his engineering degree. His favorite sport is swimming, and his hobby is philately. ARNOLD BOSTON Arnold, whom we all know as Beans , likes to draw and sketch, and he often amuses us with his Art. He likes all sports and hopes to be a dentist. He has been a member of the History lforum and Dramatic Club. LEONORE P. BLOCH Lee graduated from hfV21SlllllglLOll School with us and has been as line a sport throughout her four years of high school as she was in grammar school. Seldom serious, she provides us with a good many laughs and keeps away old man gloom. She will continue her education at Mills School, N. Y. 'ALee has been a member of the Dramatic Club. DOROTHY BERYL APFELBAUM Dot has riddled away a good many years of her life, both in Washington School and here at Union. Hut they have not been wastedg her ac- tivities prove that she has been a busy member of the classg Student Council, president Lan- guage Club, Art Club, History Forum, Biology Club, Dramatic Club, Sr. Play '36. Orchestra, and Girl's Basketball Team. Dancing is her chief hobby, and journalism her ambition. CHARLES ARNS Charles graduated from Robert Fulton Gram- mar School. He is very friendly and gets along well with the stttdents. Charlie has the easy- man's hobbies which are reading and fishing. He is a member of the History Forum, Language Club, and Dramatic Club. Charles is undecided about his future course in life after graduating. FRANK BARRY lfrank is Our newspaper man, who uill probably get many scoops Rarry lilies to swim, bicycle and play basketball. He has been il member of the press staff, History Forum, Dramatic Club, and English Cub. THELMA BIFSON She had made up her mind to be a private secretary, even when attending Robert Fulton Grammar School. Hel' hobbies are: cross-word puzzles and dancing. DOROTHY BODE Dot is a quiet, petite miss who ventured to Union from Washington School. Undaunted by her four years here, she looks forward to a college education and an interesting career of journalism. As small as she is Dot insists that swimming and horse-back riding are her hobbies. She has been a member of the Language Club, Dramatic Club, History Forum, and English Club. ROBERT BOYD One of the most popular boys of our division, Birdie , a graduate of Vlfashington School, has a most enviable record in extra-curricula activities. His amiable personality has won him a place of great esteem in the hearts of his classmates. He is president of the Athletic Association, a member of the Student Council, History Forum, Language Club, Dramatic Club, and Art Club, Senior Play '37. His hobbies are camping and all sorts of outdoor life. ln addition, he adds to the informal atmosphere existing in the seventh period physics class, his favorite period. RICHARD A. CADE XYhen l7icky graduated from Roosevelt School, he began offering some keen competition to the new freshmen of Union Hill. He has been a member of the Language Club, .History Forum and the secretary of the Dramatic Club. He sang in the operetta Pinafore . Although he in- tends to go to business when he graduates, it is his supreme ambition to go to college and obtain an engineering degree. ELEANOR S. BOYAJY Sham, a graduate of Wfashington School, is one of our most ardent dancing enthusiasts, and can be seen at noon dancing, doing justice to the Peabody Swimming and roller skating are also among her hobbies. An active senior, she is a memberof the History Forum, Glee Club, Lan- guage Club, Art Club, Union's band. a member of the cast of Pinafore, Eintracht Concert, County Chorus, and of the staff of the O. 81 li. She will enter Christ Hospital to study Nursing. Page Eight
