Mrs. Foster ltfs said that the junior and senior years of school are the busiest, but if the sen- iors were as busy as we juniors this year, they had something on us. As was traditional, we juniors had the concessions at the basketball gamees and sold Christmas cards. This we enjoyed doing because the money we earned will help pay for our class trip at the end of our senior year. VVe also sold magazines with the fifth, sixth. seventh. and eighth grades. Since the juniors did the bookwork, we re- ceived a, larger per cent of the profits. The juniors and seniors took several interesting and educational field trips. The places we visited were: The Van WVert Times-Bulletin office, the lnte1'national Har- vester plant in Fort VVayne. and the Lima Hospital for the criminally insane. On April 43, the juniors and seniors of all the high schools in the county attended the annual vocational guidance course in Van VVert. The annual county music festival was held on April 29, at the Hoaglin-Jackson school. The junior and senior prom was held o11 lllay 16. at the Fort VVayne Y.M.C,A, with the juniors decorating and planning the program. At the Baccalaureate and Commence- ment services the juniors will escort the seniors to their place of honor. NVe were sorry to lose one of our pupils, Ellen Jean Schaadt, at the end of the school year. Although she will be gone, we will never forget her. ln closing we will say, See you next, year when 'we are seniors , and to Mrs. Fos- ter we would like to express our thanks for sticking by us this year. We appreciated it very much.
