Since then several others have purchased instruments and have joined the band until now we have twenty- one members. The band has been quite active. We played for the home bas- ketball games adding' to the spirit and enjoyment. of the. games. We partici- pated with the rest of the county schools in the Band Festival held at Willshire on April 16th. The Union Band for the first. time in its history will play in the Van Wert Peony Festival Parade, joining with the York Band. We hope that this will be a beginning from which we can go forward to an entry of our own in the future.
