WILDCAT CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of 1940, of the Township of Union, County of Van Wert, and State of Ohio, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this our Last Will and Testament., hereby revoking and making null and void all other Wills and Testaments made by us here- tofore. Section I Article 1. We give and bequeath to the faculty of Union School, the feeling of relief they will sense when we as Seniors of '40 receive our gradu- ation diplomas. Article II. We bequeath to the Junior Class our ability to make money Cof which they are badly in needj and our ability to place Union on the map. Article III. We bequeath to the Sophomore Class a better chance than we had. Article IV. We give to the Freshmen our ability to get along with the teachers. Section II Lindsay McCandlish, the only quiet boy of the class of '40 bequeaths his dislike of the girls to Lester Goings, who can easily use it. Virginia Stripe wills her ever dependable parking lot for chewing gum to any Junior who is lucky enough to get her seat next year, Gene Hoaglin wills all blondes and brunettes to anybody who can at- tract them, but refuses to relinquish his claim on redheads. Phoebe McCandlish gives her ability to write long letters to Catherine Hunter who might use it in place of long speeches on this and that. Karl Laemmle wills Corwin Ray all of the A's which he finds on his grade card. Maryellen Knerr, Sadie to you, wills her recipe book, What to Feed Your Husband to Make Him Fat and Lovable to Lois Ruth Bofrden. Charles Hargesheimer wills that way with the women to Glenn Knerr. Mary Davis wills her 'tsuperiority' to Donna Dumar, also her abilities as a secretary. Robert Smith wills his ability to be a successful and efficient Annual edi- tor to some Junior who will have the same weighty responsibility in '4l. Mildred Basil, our future nurse, wills her ability to get along with the teachers to Ruth Ho-aglin. Vondale Taylor wills his sweat s.ocks, which can walk, to Bob Barry. Grace Murphy, little but mighty, wills her red hair and the temper that goes with it to Lois Cress. Barney Short wills his Dodge, that runs without guiding, to Burton Hob- let. Take heed Ben! Dorothy Mason wills her ability to attract Hollywood to Phyllis Shaffner.

WILDCAT Willard Dougal wills his badly worn books and magazines, all except the Popular Mechanics and Popular Science to Carl Foust. Make good use of them, Carl. Miriam Flickinger wills her kid brother, Marhl, to the teachers so they will have some one to bawl out in the years to come. Earl Speelman, the windielst person I've ever met, wills some of his stored away air to Dale McOmber. Eloise Miller wills the curly hair that she wishes she had to Anna Kath- ryn Baer. Don Knerr wills his ideas on how to build a winning basketball team to Mr. Fasig or any other coach. And I, Juanita Baer, will my ability to argue with anyone and everyone to Leola Speelman.
