Secretaries Hard ot work is Mrs. Penwell, Mr. Rowland's efficient secretary. Without the help of Mrs. Morgan, Mr. Boggs would find himself swamped with paper work. The newest member of our secretarial staff is Mrs. Russo, who is the hard working secretary of Mr. Calabrese. Absorbed in her job as assistant bookkeeper, Mrs. Pakovich won't even take time to smile for our camera. V renski worked diligently for Mr. Calabrese during the course of the first semester. Mrs. Ingham is seldom seen by the students but busy as Union's business secretary. 6

Administration Mr. Jock Boggs, our Senior High Guidance Counselor, has really helped the students prepare not only for college but also for careers in the armed service or ony other trade. Mr. Paul Rowland has been our Union Area High School Principal for four years. He supervises over the school and handles the financial aspects of our school. The most important body in the school which helps make the school so successful is the admin- istration. They do many important jobs that help keep this school running so smoothly. Mr. Houk just doesn't have the problem of one school, but of three schools. Mr. Rowland and Mr. Calabrese together keep things under order at the High School. Mr. Boggs and Miss Bodnar help the students in a more personal way by helping them in any problems that might come about in school or at home. They all have done a fine job and we would like to say thank-you for giving us this great opportunity of education. Miss Jamis Bodnar, the Junior High Guidance Counselor, helps the Junior high students in scheduling classes and helps them in any other problems that may come up during the year. Mr. Houk, who is the Supervising Principal, is always busy keeping our school running and giving advice to the teachers. Mr. Calabrese is in his second year of being an efficient Assistant Principal. Many of us do not realize it, but he has one of the hardest jobs to do. 5
