 One of the busiest groups ot Union is the librarians. These students check out books, type, and stamp due dates on library cards. The library showcases were made prominent and colorful by Carlene Dengler and Iris Shellhammer. Father Mifolo, who wo» a former charter member of N.H.S. from our school, was our informative speaker at our induction ceremony. He spoke on the four cardinal principles of the National Honor Society. The four qualifications for the National Honor Society are Char- acter, Scholarship, Service, ond Leadership. A short speech on these were given by: Corlene Oengler, Character; Mary Ann Melcer, Scholarship; Cloudio Nel- son, the N.H.S. Emblem; Joe Berk ley. Leadership; and Lorry Kelso, Service. N.H.S. Our speakers and advisors are: Father Fronk Mitolo, Mr. Ray Zarlengo, Miss Carrie Mae Rentz, Mrs. Frances Butts, ond Mr. Ivon J. Sargent.
