An Evening of Emotion was presented by the Se- nior Closs on Monday, February 17, 1969. The production consisted of three one-act plays which provided entertainment for everyone. The first play was The Death of the Hired Man. It had a melancholy mood and focused its action around the porch of a farmhouse in the Midwest. The second Egad! What a Cad! provided the comedy of the evening. The living room of the Greystones' New York mansion created the scene. The third and last play was The Lottery. This play was a very dramatic production which had an unusual ending. Its setting was the village green of a small town. The idea of the three one- act productions was to provide something for everyone and its purpose was well accomplished. The Death of the Hired Man adapted by Jay Gould It' almost past haying time. An Evening The director of the sequel was Mr. Robert Curry, the junior English teacher. The two stu- dent directors were Mary Ann Adamczyk and Maryann Mel cer. We appreciated their help and advice very much in mak- ing this production a success. You mean Silas is bockl!
